An overview about United Arab Emirates
The United Arab Emirates is made up of seven emirates, which are:
- The Emirate of Abu Dhabi is the largest of the seven Emirates. The Emirate includes the city of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the federal state
- The Emirate of Dubai is considered the second among the seven emirates in terms of area and is distinguished by its cultural diversity and iconic landmarks. It receives millions of visitors seeking pleasure and business every year, from all over the world.
- The Emirate of Sharjah is the third largest emirate in terms of area. It won the title of Capital of Arab Culture in 1998, Capital of Islamic Culture in 2014, and Capital of Arab Tourism in 2015. Culture in the emirate ranks high
- The Emirate of Ajman is the smallest of the seven emirates, and the Emirate of Ajman is currently ranked third among the seven Emirates in terms of its industrial renaissance
- The Emirate of Umm Al Quwain is the second smallest emirate in terms of area, and it is the oldest area in pearl diving in the world. Trade is active in the city due to the presence of its sea port.
- The Emirate of Ras AlKhaimah enjoys a strategic location in the northern part of the UAE at the entrance to the Arabian Gulf. The emirate is witnessing remarkable economic growth, especially after the establishment of the free zone and several tourist facilities.
Culture of the United Arab Emirates
The United Arab Emirates enjoys a great cultural heritage that is reflected in the values and originality of its people, which remained ingrained in light of successive historical developments so that the country preserved the customs and traditions, folk arts, Emirati foods, social life and archaeological sites, along with the efforts of the state to preserve that heritage ancient culture
Culture of tolerance and coexistence in the United Arab Emirates
The UAE includes more than 200 nationalities that enjoy a decent life, respect and equality. It is also an incubator for the values of tolerance, moderation, and acceptance of others. To promote this concept, the government of UAE has launched the National Program for Tolerance, enacted the Anti-Discrimination and Hatred Law, and established several centers to combat extremism and terrorism.
About Sheikh Khalifa Medical City - Ajman
Sheikh Khalifa Medical City – Ajman established as part of H.H the president initiative, with the aim of providing medical services in various specialties to citizens and residents of the Northern Emirates.
Sheikh Khalifa Medical City – Ajman includes 4 hospitals:

- Rashid Center for Diabetes and Researches
